Jim Turner
Photography has been family owned and operated since 1987. Jim and Linda
are a husband and wife team dedicated to preserving some of lives most
special moments. From the wedding day of a young man and woman, to a
baby's first formal portrait session, their goal is to create for their
clients memories that will be cherished for a life time. Not just photographs,
but treasures in time.
The author
of a book on portrait photography that I read years ago was asked by
a friend why he was a photographer. His reply sums up our philosophy
about our work. He said, "I can't think of any other profession
that I could be a part of that brings so much joy to people than what
I'm doing now". That statement set me on the path to becoming a
portrait photographer.
Jim recently
earned the titled of CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER, awarded
by The Professional Photographers of America of which he is a member
of the Dallas Professional Photographers Association, where he has served
on the Board of Directors for four years.
Jim and Linda
continual strive to improve the product of their studio through study
with some of the top photographers in the country. Ed Pierce, Dennis
Reggie, Don McGreggor, Jeff Luban, Linda Lapp and Bruce Hudson to name
a few, all Masters in their field.
Wedding
Photography
We feel that
the most important day in a young woman's life has to be her wedding
day. This day is also important to us, because the images that we capture
on this special day are our calling card. Our reputation. That's why
we take the utmost care to insure that the "fantasy"
that a bride has of her wedding day images are the images that will
be in her wedding album. Through the engagement session, and bridal
session, we take the time to get to know the bride and groom so on the
wedding day, we are not strangers. This makes for a more relaxed atmosphere,
which in turn, results in a more relaxed bride and groom. The end result,
Great Images!
Families
and Children
We love families
and especially children. While children are challenging, they are also
FUN! They have a way of surprising you in the most wonderful ways. If
you are patient and let them be themselves, they will reward you with
that special images that will be treasured for a lifetime.
Jim and
Linda are looking forward to preserve your special photographic
